In keeping with Dr. Bendiks' frequent advanced studies, on the weekend of April 24-27, 2014 Dr. Bendiks attended the annual symposium of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists in Orlando, FL. Approximately 60 board-certified chiropractic orthopedists attended from around the world. The symposium presentations were made on the subject of orthopedic imaging of the spine, shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers. The imaging presented was primarily MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), bone scans (Scintigraphy) and X-ray. Other topics discussed were new chiropractic treatment methods for post-laminectomy and post-spinal fusion surgical back and neck pain. Dr. Bendiks attended 16 hours of class room didactic courses.
